Master data
Products, packaging, customers and warehouses: the base of every calculation.
What it's for
Everything the app calculates — forecasts, purchasing, routes, truck loading — depends on this data. Complete data means reliable plans.
Step by step
- 1
Products
The list of items with SKU, category, unit and cost. Add them one by one or import from Excel with the template. Click a product to see its detail and suppliers.
- 2
Packaging & dimensions
In the "Packaging & dimensions" tab you record the unit, box and pallet with dimensions (cm), weight (kg) and how many units each holds. Mark it fragile or keep-upright. If you don't have them, the operator can measure the product at receiving.
- 3
Customers: delivery point
For each customer you mark on the map where deliveries go, their receiving hours and how many minutes a delivery takes. If it's missing, the app learns the location from the first delivery's GPS.
- 4
Warehouses
Each site with its code, city and coordinates, its zones and locations. The coordinates let you plan routes from that warehouse.
Example: A box of filters
Acme receives filters in boxes of 12 (40 × 30 × 25 cm, 14 kg). With that, the picking optimizer knows how many fit on a cart and the route planner how many boxes go on each truck.
Tips
- The "Logistics data" card in Picking and Routes shows what share of products, customers and trucks already have their data.
- Start with the fastest movers: measuring 20 % of products already covers most shipments.
