What it's for

DRP plans transfers between warehouses from each site's demand; truckloads turn those transfers into full trucks.

Step by step

    DRP grid

    Each product per site, week by week: demand, projected inventory and planned transfers, or totals per site.

  2. 2

    Truckloads

    How many trucks go to each site each week and how full. If the last truck isn't full, it's topped off with next week's transfers when the freight saved beats the cost of sending stock early, and two part-full trucks can share a route. Create a week's transport orders in one click.

Example: 56 trips → 40

Over 12 weeks Acme goes from 56 trips to 40, average fill from 49 % to 83 %, and saves US$ 6,683 net; David and Santiago share a truck because Santiago is on the way.
